Here's the cilantro, doing surprisingly well.

- These are the transplanted mint.

- Monster Turnip
As we grow turnips, I have noticed that it is best to prune them.
Hi again. There is practically squash coming out our ears. I have enough info about it to make this whole update about squash. I guess I’ll just do a brief summary, though. Dad had to wear long pants and carry a knife to get all the squash out. Some of the zucchini had become simply ginormous. Dad wants to juice them. We used a yellow squash for stirfry and I did the majority of the cooking. We also have a winter squash plant that we can’t get squash from until fall even though it is already producing them. There is one other type we have. It’s an accidental hybrid we created called zellow squash; it’s a cross between a yellow squash and a zucchini. It’s not very good stir-fried so Dad wants to juice that too. I guess that’s all I’d better say about the squash so there will be room for other things.
In the other report I forgot to tell you about the mint plants. Dad and I brought them up from the creek and put them in a bucket. It is our first time growing mint and they are flourishing. Overnight we got our second corn tassel also. I don’t know how a whole tassel grew overnight. There is one more thing I need to tell you. I am continuing to get more visitors, and I haven’t the slightest idea why. If anyone knows, PLEASE tell me.

We enjoyed reading about your cats and gardens, sounds like yummy squash and cukes. We just had a family reunion with my mothers family, 4 sisters and 3 brothers,2 boy cousins, 8 girl cousins, we had so much fun,we wish we saw them more then once a year. We have 2 big gardens and the deer have eaten more beans and tomatoes then we want to admit, boohoo, hope we get some, the garlic we harvested yestersday and have to do onions tomorrow. Hope your summer is fine Shayley, take good care of eveyone there, your friend, Cyrus.

Hi Shayley!
I am curious to know if you have to squash squash to make juice.
Have you ever made moss sauce?
What do you get if you chop up your mint? Minced mints!
Please tell your Mom and Dad hi for me. Your friend, Joey

Hi Joey. No, you don’t have to squash it . The juicer does that if you have one. No I haven’t made moss sauce and I have a feeling that if it’s not truffles you’re talking about you’re making it up. I’m sure the mint joke would be funnier out loud. Shayley
