Tater
Private
ChiquitaWe found two kittens about a month ago. One was outgoing and active, the neighbors gave him to me. I named it Stabby. He has been seen nursing with two cats, Grufski and her mom, Chiquita. Days ago, Stabby disappeared. It is likely he is dead. The other kitten is shy and a bit sickly. Its name is Private. It is still alive. It was recently diagnosed with worms and allergies. Dad spent $211 on its medicine. Recently we found 2 more kittens. I named them Hula and Tye-Dye. One is scrawny but active, the other is bigger and calmer. I haven’t seen either for a while, but do you know what’s creepy? The larger one that I call Tye-Dye looks exactly like our old cat Fluffy. He’s dead now. Someone accidentally ran over him. Anyway, I hope that same bobcat that ate Stinker and numerous litters of kittens doesn’t eat this batch.
Now for a little catchup on the big cats. We found out Grufski isn’t deaf after all, she can hear high pitches. On the 27th, when I was trying to pet Private, our heftiest cat Big Mama pushed Private away from me and scratched me and made me bleed. Then I shrieked and the darn cat bit my arm. Tater just watched the whole thing with a jealous look on his face. Since we also socialize with the cats, he’s a little jealous. We’ve been working on some extra training with him like teaching him to roll over. However, his largest problem is that he is afraid of Private because cats of the past have caused him lots of pain. I do have one question for Jacqueline. The next time my mom is well enough to let you come play, do you think you would like to help with Tater’s training? Thanks for reading.
